Multi-field inflation from single-field models

چکیده

Quantization implies independent degrees of freedom that do not appear in the classical theory, given by fluctuations, correlations, and higher moments a state. A systematic derivation resulting dynamical systems is presented here cosmological application for near-Gaussian states single-field inflation model. As consequence, Higgs made viable observationally becoming multi-field model with specific potential fluctuation field interacting inflaton expectation value. Crucially, non-adiabatic methods semiclassical quantum dynamics reveal important phases can set suitable initial conditions slow-roll (in combination uncertainty relation), then end after preferred number e-folds. New parameters interaction are derived from properties underlying background state, demonstrating how non-Gaussianity affect observational features or, conversely, observations may be used to understand state inflaton.

The consistency equation hierarchy in single - field inflation models

Inflationary consistency equations relate the scalar and tensor perturbations. We elucidate the infinite hierarchy of consistency equations of single-field inflation, the first of which is the well-known relation A2T/A 2 S = −nT/2 between the amplitudes and the tensor spectral index. We write a general expression for all consistency equations both to first and second-order in the slow-roll expa...

Trispectrum versus bispectrum in single-field inflation

In the standard slow-roll inflationary cosmology, quantum fluctuations in a single field, the inflaton, generate approximately Gaussian primordial density perturbations. At present, the bispectrum and trispectrum of the density perturbations have not been observed and the probability distribution for these perturbations is consistent with Gaussianity. However, Planck satellite data will bring a...

Large Non-Gaussianities in Single Field Inflation

We compute the 3-point correlation function for a general model of inflation driven by a single, minimally coupled scalar field. Our approach is based on the numerical evaluation of both the perturbation equations and the integrals which contribute to the 3-point function. Consequently, we can analyze models where the potential has a “feature”, in the vicinity of which the slow roll parameters ...

Generation of perturbation after multi - field inflation

We explore a new possibility that some inflaton fields in multi-field inflation models satisfy the observed value of the spectral index so that the curvature perturbation generated by them through post-inflationary dynamics may be relevant for the current observations. We illustrate this point using a simple and reasonable multi-field chaotic inflation model motivated from string theory. Possib...
